New Love.

Ahhh new love...so sweet, so innocent, so fresh and interesting...I found a new love...

Aren't they beautiful? I didn't even realize that I had this fascination with kaleidoscopes until last week, when we went up to a shop in Jerome called Nellie Bly Kaleidoscopes and Art Glass.  I think we spent at least an hour in there playing with all the kaleidoscopes, and dreaming...so I wanted to share some of the photos I took through their large (and too expensive for me to ever own) kaleidoscopes.

And then there is renewed love...a forgotten love that you felt you could never have, and then you realize it can be in your reach...here's Ryan's...

His orchids. It seemed we could never keep them alive, and since we have moved to a milder climate, he has decided to fill the house with them! Which is nice for me, because it fills my need to document every little thing with hipstamatic.

So...yes we are enjoying Cottonwood, and settling in quite nicely.

Just a side note, all my friends with blogs, I have been trying to comment on your blogs, but for some reason every time it kicks me back to the log in page...infuriating! Is this happening to anyone else...I assume the answer is yes if I get no comments...or that you just don't want to comment...hmmm dilemma.

Thrift Stores!

I would have never imagined that Cottonwood would be such a hub for amazing thrift stores. But here I am surrounded by all these thrift stores...this makes me happy and sad...

Happy for the latest acquisition, a wonderful dresser ( of course I will post photos).

Sad, because for one I have no money...and I purged my belongings before we moved so as to have as little as possible, thus reducing my work load around the house.  Now I fear I will be bringing things home here and there filling up the house again. Well, we will deal with that later. 

For now I am searching for a vintage hat rack to go next to my new awesome dresser...

We also need a bookshelf and some vintage device to hold blankets in the living room...yep, I am in trouble...

Moving!

We are making a huge move...not just because we have a lot of junk, but huge because of how long we have lived on the rez...I won't get too into that because I am sure I would go on for days.

We are moving to Cottonwood...I know not too exciting, but for us it is.  We will now be 20 minutes from Ryan's work instead of 3 hours! Which will be wonderful for so many reasons...also on this subject I could go on for days...

I am letting you all know in mass, sorta insensitive, but I got a lot of packing to do before this weekend...I also wanted to let you know why I won't be posting for a bit.  I will post photos of our new home soon, and hopefully will have some witty things to talk about too.
