Breaking out my FALL

Crisp cool air revitalizing our lungs
Bright yellow, red and orange dancing across the wind and fluttering to their resting places
Breathing in cinnamon wafting up from my warm ceramic mug

Toasting toes by intertwined warmth and fire...

You would think I like fall...but I don't, these are just a few of my coping mechanisms that will pull me through. Yes, I do love the colors of the changing seasons, but the cold pretty much kills me!

So I decided to go with the FALL flow and create some jewelry...here is my first fall inspired piece this season

Pockets

I didn't realize how hard it would be to have a blog...that the thoughts would just bombard my mind, and I would have no choice but to write them down.  Well...that didn't quite happen.  So, I decided I would talk about POCKETS!

I love pockets!  In fact, the more useless the pocket the more I am fascinated...tiny little pockets that not even a quarter fits in...what could be better than that?  So I decided that I would concentrate on some cute pockets while sewing. Here is the outcome.

For this one I tried for a triangular shape.  I like how it turned out, so my pocket adventure has begun!



Shame-full Plug

Well...I finally broke down and started a BLOG! I never thought it would happen...and I never thought I would actually get to the point of posting.  So here I am , and now I am not sure what I am supposed to do...inspire...encourage...or just send out a shame-full plug for my esty site. Maybe I will do a little of all and a little bit more.  And maybe, just maybe no one will read, and then I will be free of the shame part!
